T-shirt Design Critique

I’m working on a T-shirt design for Threadless.com that is up for critique. Here: [link]

Some of the suggestions have been helpful, but others I’m not sure about. Some have suggested putting more stuff in the background, or add another snail or slug. I kind of like the simplicity as it is.
One thing I will do is make the design smaller on the shirt.

What do you guys think?

I like it like this, personally. I wouldn't add anything in the background since it's a shirt, after all. People don't need to be distracted from the joke.

Hahaha, this is awesome. My only criticism would be that perhaps you could add another slug/snail in, like a waiter with a tray or something. The eye doesn't travel around enough the image quite enough for my taste, but this is still genius!!

I agree that the simplicity is great as-is. Adding more would probably confuse the eye and pull the viewer away from the premise. If you want to add another slug or snail, add another customer with money, not a waiter.
